Kip Jackson

Kip Jackson is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CBSS Inc., a California-based security, investigations, and attorney services firm focused on delivering professional, dependable, and strategically driven solutions to law firms, corporations, and private clients.

Kip is a retired law enforcement professional with over 25 years of service, bringing extensive experience in investigations, field operations, case preparation, and leadership. Throughout his career, he worked closely with detectives, prosecutors, and city attorneys, assisting in the coordination and filing of criminal cases. He also served as a liaison between law enforcement agencies and both District Attorney and City Attorney offices, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of legal procedures, evidentiary standards, and courtroom expectations.

His background includes specialized law enforcement training and operational experience in areas such as tactical shooting, arrest and control techniques, traffic collision investigations, gang enforcement operations, civil and criminal liability, use-of-force decision making, mobile field force deployments, strategic operational planning, weapons of mass destruction awareness and response, homeland security and domestic terrorism response, and advanced supervisory leadership through Sergeant-level command training.

Since founding CBSS Inc. in 2020, Kip has successfully help lead the company’s growth into a trusted provider of security services, private investigations, process service, and litigation support throughout California. He oversees all aspects of company operations including client engagement, contract negotiation, compliance, staffing, scheduling, and risk management.
